ECWT Prize

The Technical Programme Committee of the ECWT and the General Assembly of the European Microwave Association will award the ECWT Prize of €3,000 to the author(s) of the best contributed paper to the ECWT 2006.


ECWT Young Engineers Prize

The ECWT Technical Programme Committee and the General Assembly of the European Microwave Association will award the Young Engineer Prize of €2,000 to a young engineer or researcher who has presented an outstanding paper at the European Conference on Wireless Technology. To be eligible candidates must be (1) aged 30 or younger at the date of the award, (2) be the first author of the paper, (3) be the presenter either of an oral or poster session. Applicants must state the purpose to which the prize will be put. The successful applicant may use part of the prize to fund attendance at the following year’s European Conference on Wireless Technology.


Reduced Fees and Special Grants

Reduced fees are implemented for students as well as senior persons aged 65 years or more. The European Microwave Association will also provide up to 4 student grants consisting of €500 plus the reduced registration fee for the ECWT. Applications should be sent to the ECWT Chairman by 8 July 2006.

The European Microwave Association will also provide a number of grants for delegates coming from NIS countries or Russia. The value of the grants if €500 plus the reduced registration fee for the ECWT. Applications should be sent to the EuMW General Chairman by
8 July 2006.
