EuMC Prizes and Grants

EuMC Microwave Prize
The Technical Programme Committee of the EuMC and the General Assembly of the European Microwave Association will award the EuMC Microwave Prize of €5,000 to the author(s) of the best contributed paper to the 35th European Microwave Conference.

EuMC Young Engineer Prizes
The Technical Programme Committee of the EuMC and the General Assembly of the European Microwave Association will award two EuMC Young Engineers Prizes of €2,000 each to young engineers or researchers who have presented an outstanding paper at the European Microwave Conference. Eligible candidates must be (1) aged 30 or younger at the date of award, (2) be the first author of the paper, (3) be the presenter (either of an oral or poster session). Applicants must state the purpose to which the prize will be put. The successful applicant may use part of the prize to fund attendance at the following year's European Microwave Conference.

Reduced Fees and Special Grants
Reduced fees are implemented for students as well as senior persons aged 65 years or more. The European Microwave Association will also provide up to 10 student grants consisting of €500, plus the reduced registration fee for the EuMC. Applications should be sent to the EuMC Chairman by 9 July 2005.

The European Microwave Association will also provide a number of grants for delegates coming from NIS countries or Russia. The value of the grants is €500, plus the reduced registration fee for the EuMC. Applications should be sent to the EuMW General Chairman by 9 July 2005.
